She was previously employed by CBS Sports and Fox Sports. Kolber is a native of Pennsylvania who completed her master's at the University of Miami. Kolber started her career in New York City as a CBS Sports video coordinator. She was awarded a local Sports Emmy during her tenure at WTVJ-TV situated in Miami. Also, she worked for WPLG-TV Miami and WPEC-TV West Palm Beach in Florida. In 1993, she was a part of ESPN and was named one of the early anchors for ESPN2 as it came out at the time. The station was her home for ESPN2 for three years prior to leaving for Fox Sports. She was recruited in 1999 by ESPN to host "Monday Night Countdown.'
